Xsquared Architects welcomes Nikki Garbett to our team.
Nikki commenced as a Graduate in February 2022 and is already making a positive contribution to our practice through her great personality and REVIT experience.
Originally from Melbourne, Nikki studied for her Bachelor of Architectural Design at the University of Queensland before moving to Launceston to complete her Master of Architecture at the University of Tasmania. She finds that architecture allows her to be creative, while contributing positively to the environment we live in. She is passionate about adaptive reuse, heritage restoration and creating a more sustainable future through architecture.
Outside of work Nikki can be found walking along a river, beach or in the bush, hanging out with her family and pets or visiting local markets and vintage/antique stores. She enjoys Tasmania’s lifestyle, weather and local food and wine. When not engrossed in architectural magazines, Nikki often reads thrillers, such as the latest Matthew Reilly novel.
